How should I best care for my sunglasses?Updated a year ago

"I can accompany you all my life if you take good care of me"

Properly caring for your sunglasses is crucial to preserving their longevity and ensuring optimal vision. To maintain their pristine condition, adhere to a few simple practices. When not in use, always safeguard your shades within a protective case to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.

Regular cleaning with a microfibre cloth will eliminate smudges and fingerprints, but remember to avoid abrasive materials that might harm the lenses. Utilise a specialised lens cleaner or mild soap and water for a thorough cleanse, then gently pat dry with a soft cloth.

Shield your sunglasses from extreme heat and prolonged sun exposure, as these can warp frames and degrade lens coatings. Handle them with clean hands to prevent transferring oils or dirt. Additionally, avoid placing your sunglasses face down to prevent scratches, and periodically check for loose screws or signs of wear.

Wipe off water and sweat promptly, particularly after exposure to saltwater or chlorine, which can cause corrosion. Finally, be gentle while handling the arms to prevent hinge damage.

By following these guidelines, your sunglasses will remain both stylish and functional, offering clear vision and eye protection for years ahead.

  • We use materials that withstand normal use but do not resist loads for which they are not designed.
  • The wood is treated with a mixture of oils and organic waxes to protect it.
  • We do not recommend immersing wooden frames in water, as they may experience changes in their finish.
  • Always store your sunglasses in the case provided and in a safe place.
  • Do not expose your glasses to extreme temperatures.
  • Sunglasses are not suitable for direct sunlight, exposure to artificial UV radiation or for driving in low light conditions.
